Members who have been to the church since this past Sunday have noticed some rapid progress on the new Sunday School building. The crew is working on the foundation and reports are that they are pouring some concrete already!! Help us pray for a quick completion and for the safety of the crews that are working on it.

Jeremy and Dara Adams
Jeremy and Dara Adams are missionaries in Košice, Slovakia where they work with college students through Campus Crusade for Christ. They are a wonderful christian couple and we were extremely blessed to hear them speak at our July 1st Wednesday night Bible Study.

December 7th Baptism
A chilly day for a baptism, but the baptismal waters are warm....usually. Apparently the heating unit went out in the baptistry and the water was pretty cold. It was still a great day for Brett Towery and his family. Little Brett was baptized in the Lord and it was a great day! Pray for him and our church as he grows and as we try to help him in his Walk in the Lord.
Oct 31st, Hallow Him
On a day when the world thinks about things like ghosts and goblins, we try to think about God. So instead of Halloween, we Hallow(Honor) Him(God). It was awesome to see the kids all dressed up like cowboys, football players, various animals, and all sorts of costumes. They got to learn about God and what he can do for their lives, play some fun games, go on a hayride, and of course get some candy at the Trunk-n-Treat. For pictures click the link below.
We were doubly blessed to baptize twins, Grace and Wes Harrill. They came to know Christ recently. It was a great day in the Lord! Pray for Grace and Wes and our church as they grow and we try to help them in their Walk with the Lord.
June 1st Youth Vs. Adults Softball game
Break out the ice packs and heating pads! Our annual Youth Vs. Adults Softball game was held Sunday Afternoon. A great game was played by all! The Adults won the heated 4-inning game with a score of 20-8. The youth played hard, but were missing some key players. A great time was had by all involved, although many of us realized Monday morning that we aren't as young or agile as we used to be.
May 31st Fish Fry
Awesome volunteers from our church braved hot weather and hot splattering oil to put on another Fish Fry fundraiser for our Building Fund. An estimated $1500 worth of fish and fixin's was sold. We made a net profit of approximately $400. Cleared money was a little lower than expected, but for a good reason. All of the fish was purchased for our next fish fry in response to an expected price increase, so our next one will be even better.
April 12th Fish Fry
Another awesome Fish Fry fundraiser was held on April 12th. We raised over $800 towards our new Sunday School Building!!
Building Families Weekend
We had an awesome time learning how to grow closer to our families and helping our families grow closer to God! Thanks to our special guest speakers, Gary White and Wolfgang Seibler. Another thanks goes to Chad Dillard's family who came and helped with everything. They allowed those who usually work events from our church to be able to participate in the activities. Spaghetti Lunch Fundraiser
If you didn't come this past Sunday, you missed some of the best spaghetti this side of Italy! As always our church ladies did an awesome job of organizing everything and preparing some great food. Everybody had an awesome time of fellowship. And if that wasn't enough, we raised $461 for our building fund. We're that much closer to some new Sunday School rooms!
